Digital durometer for measuring Shore D hardness, e.g. hard rubber, thermal plastic / accuracy ±1 in hardness degrees / 0.5 degree resolution / HOLD function
The digital hardness tester is a compact device for testing Shore D hardness, which is required for slightly harder materials, such as hard rubber and thermal plastic. A 30° cone and a pressing force of 50 Newton are used as the penetration body of the digital durometer. Measurement tests should have a minimum thickness of 6 mm.
In case it is lower, the material to be checked should be
reinforced on the back with the same material, achieving
thus increase the thickness.
