The thickeer is an instrument for quickly determining the coating thickness on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The thickefinder automatically detects the base type. Once you turn on the equipment it is ready to measure. The measurement method is non-destructive, allowing the surface where the test is performed to continue to be used. The working principle is magnetic induction for ferrous metals and eddy current for non-ferrous metals.
Before taking a measurement, you can set limit values on the thickness meter. In case the measured value is outside the established limit values, the screen will project a message that allows detecting a thickness that is too thin or coarse at the measurement site. This is especially useful when controlling incoming or outgoing goods, as the use of a thickeer allows the quality of the coating to be checked quickly and accurately.
