PCE-CT 26FN
For ferrous and non-ferrous substrates / Large measuring range /
Rotating color display / Light weight
The PCE-CT 26FN thickefinder non-destructively measures coating thickness (lacquers, paints, plastics, etc.) on ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The thickefinder is ideal for detecting, for example, if a vehicle has been in an accident. On the other hand, this thickefinder is also used in industry for quality control, to ensure that the quality of the product is identical.
The thickeer has an ergonomic design and integrates the measuring probe. Operation is simple and allows for quick and precise measurements. The PCE-CT 26N thickefinder has been designed to measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings (such as lacquers, plastics, chrome, copper, zinc, anodized, etc.) on ferrous bases, such as iron and steel. It also measures the thickness of insulating coatings, such as lacquers, anodized, paper, glass, rubber, etc. on non-ferrous bases, such as copper, aluminum, brass, stainless steel or aluminum.
Application / Use
Simply place the thickener on the material to be measured and read the value on the screen. In this simple way, you can measure the thickness or coating of lacquers, paints, plastics, chrome, copper, zinc, galvanized, enamel on steel, stainless steel, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as anodized on aluminum.
The calibration standards included in the shipping content allow the thickeer to be adjusted at any time. To do this, place a calibration standard on a plate (Fe or NFe) and place the thickeer on top of the calibration standard. Make sure the device is straight and securely attached.
