A one-component, chlorine-free, borate-free, water-based intumescent coating tested by independent UKAS accredited laboratories. As a water-based product, Interchar 1160 offers a more environmentally friendly option for the protection of steel structures, especially where aesthetics are important. Its low odor allows application on construction site and in occupied or hygienically sensitive areas. Interchar 1160 is a CE marked product with European Technical Approval ETA-11/0460.
