Use the 3M™ Wool Intense Polishing Beret with 3M compounds and fixturing systems to polish painted, clear and composite surfaces. Achieve a perfect finish and effective polishing on painted, clear and composite surfaces with the 3M™ wool high-polish polishing bonnet. Our high-polish polishing bonnet is designed to be easily used with 3M composites and bonding systems for improved efficiency and exceptional results. You can choose between an all-wool beret or made with a finer 60/40 wool compound; whichever option best suits the task at hand. Our double-sided, unbraided, wool yarn berets feature a durable, heavy-duty center shaft that holds the abrasives in the wool during gentle or dynamic high-polishing processes. The all-wool beret handles well on larger surfaces. Because it is threaded, you can easily attach it to orbital sanders and other power tools with the 3M™ adapter (05710). Employ our single-sided wool compounding pad to remove surface paint defects during the process of intense auto body polishing. It is designed for use with our Hookit™ attachment system, a Hookit™ system that works with clamping and docking brackets, and saves time with quick changeover times. All of our wool high polishing berets are designed to be combined with the Perfect-it™ paint finishing system to improve the performance of the paint finishing process. This system includes scratch repair discs and berets, intense and soft polishes, and cleaners.
