WEST SYSTEM® 402 milled glass fiber blend is a high density filler composed of loose crushed glass and other fillers, designed for small semi-structural repairs, gap filling or minor impact damage to fiberglass laminates. The resulting repairs are incredibly strong, tough and resilient.

When mixed with WEST SYSTEM epoxy at a ratio of approximately 25% by weight, a thick paste is obtained which is carefully applied with a brush and secured with PVC tape or peelable cloth to achieve a smooth finish. In the marine industry, its most common uses include repairing deep holes due to osmotic damage; damage to rudders and daggerboards on dinghies; and impact damage to hard edges on small sailboats.
