These durable discs have a film backing that resists tearing and flexes over uneven surfaces. Discs are used wet to keep the surface clean and increase disc life. They are used prior to any 3M™ Perfect-It™ paint finishing system or traditional polishing process. Remove dirt particles and smooth sanding scratches, leaving fewer deep scratch defects than dry sanding abrasives, with 3M™ Trizact™ 471LA 1500 grit lacquer sanding discs.
