CLEAN AND STIP CG-ZS SXCRS DISC

The Clean & Strip Scotch-Brite™ Roloc™ disc is used for forceful removal of paint and rust from gaskets, door frames, drip moldings, frames and other tight areas. Our discs feature the Roloc hitch system, which makes disc changes quick and easy, making them ideal for multi-step finishing processes. The disc is quickly mounted on the hitch and backing* which can then be mounted on machines such as grinders and right angle sanders. The discs feature silicon carbide minerals and nylon fibers in non-woven material with a resin that dissolves and releases over time, so the abrasive remains active and resists heat. Silicon carbide is a very sharp synthetic mineral that is often used in low pressure applications such as paint preparation. It breaks faster than aluminum oxide to achieve an excellent finish. Extra coarse mineral (XCS) allows the removal of corrosion and unwanted stains from a variety of substrates. It powerfully removes paint and rust from gaskets, door frames, drip moldings, frames and other hard-to-reach areas. Nonwoven technology makes Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives unique. We combine abrasive strands, resin and minerals to form a coarse, open mesh. The spring-like nature of the fibers responds to contours and allows for effective removal of burrs, stains and contaminants while maintaining workpiece geometry, thereby reducing the need for rework and increasing productivity. Holes in the screen allow chips to escape so that debris does not clog the ore. Screen fibers break continuously in use to expose new ore and provide exceptional uniformity, superior cutting performance and extremely long service life.
