Use 7447 PRO Scotch-Brite™ roll as a good alternative to steel wool and other non-woven products (such as wire brushes and paper sandpaper) for tough cleaning jobs and fine finish results. Our 7447 PRO roll features fine grit aluminum oxide abrasive particles that deliver fast cutting and a clean, smooth finish. Fiber coating technology allows for efficient cutting with uniform scratching for sanding, prepping or finishing parts in less time. Delivers consistent results throughout the life of the disc. The versatile 7447 PRO material can be used on a wide range of materials, such as wood, metal, plastic, ceramic, porcelain, glass, rubber or composites, as well as in preparation for automotive painting or for sanding furniture or woodworking parts. Our discs are comparable in performance to 1 grit steel wool, but unlike 1 grit steel wool, they will not fray during use, rust after use or create tiny metal chips. Use them for cleaning, finishing, roughing and deburring or for sanding surfaces before painting or priming. Also used for cleaning upholstery and chrome. Suitable for wet or dry environments, these discs can be washed and used repeatedly. Scotch-Brite PRO is a unique surface conditioning product with abrasives incorporated into non-woven nylon fibers.
