Fire-retardant intumescent modified epoxy coating, two-component, high performance, solvent-free, designed to be used on steel structures that require protection against cellulose fires. Certified against fire in independent laboratory according to UL 263 / UL 2431 Category 1-A in outdoor applications, BS 476 Parts 20-22, GOST (Russia), EAD 350402-00-1106, Korean standard F 2257, and Australian standards AS1530.4 (2014) and AS 4100. Generally applied off-site by specialized applicators, Interchar 212 will achieve the required fire protection thickness in just one or two coats. The product has excellent corrosion performance and outstanding mechanical properties. Interchar 212 can provide a steel structure fully protected against fire without the need for a topcoat. Interchar 212 is fundamentally a spray-applied material and offers high performance without need.

To help preserve the structural integrity of steel structures in cellulosic fires. Typical structures that require this protection include different public buildings, e.g. airport terminals, leisure facilities, convention centres, educational facilities, shopping centres, industrial complexes and hotels. Interchar 212 uses durable epoxy technology to provide a material that enables the fabrication of fire-protected steel structures, helping to improve quality control and reduce construction schedules.
